  • Every second Thursday, 6pm-8pm, free. If you would like to come and get instruction on how to spin, please contact AlberniValleyFibre@proton.me so that we can arrange to bring a learning wheel.

January

  • January 31: The Teachings of Mutton: A Coast Salish Woolly Dog A Lecture by Liz Hammond-Kaaremmaa and Sul milthia’ Violet Elliott | Alberni Valley Museum | January 31, 2026 1:00 pm. | Copies of the book will be for sale after the lecture, offered by Mobius Books.
  • January 19: Chasearound socks with Marg McAulay. 10am – noon at Quality Foods, upstairs meeting area. Must be able to knit socks already. Email for more info.

  • February 10, Monthly meeting. Special Guest: local weaver and willow farm Stephen Forrest from Strobe Willows. 6pm at Bomber’s Cafe.
  • Introduction to Spinning workshop with Annalise Satorius, February 28th and March 7th.
